I should have been in Ghana this month but find myself still sitting around the house in Kansas recovering from my surgery in August. The staples in my back were removed the first Friday in September. The wound was not completely healed for another five + weeks. I still have four weeks or so to were this clam shell brace. After that is off it will be I will need to begin the process of building up the muscles in my back and stomach that I have been unable to use with this brace on. This process will take another 2 or 3 months. So it appears that it will be March of so before I am back in action. meanwhile all I can do is prepare, in this case recover.
