I have crisscrossed this country from Main to San Diego and Seattle to Miami for 55 years. from the ages of 15 to 26 I was no more then 6 months in any given place. I bought a tent in 1972 which I still use. I remember standing out by my house when I was 13, looking at the stars, and It was like God told me I would see America before I settled down, haven't settled down yet, so i guess i haven't seen it yet. I have traveled in many different ways. In my younger days by hitchhiking, later by motorcycle. In more recent history, I had an old Chevy Caviler, which finally got to rusty to trust on the road. God then gave me a 2006 Honda Civic, Which was totaled with 345,000 miles on it. Then God gave a new 2024 KIA Sportage Hybrid, which I can lay down in and don't need a tent anymore. Now I can stealth camp almost anymore. I live more in my car today then anywhere else. I am reminded of what Psalms tells us: "I have been young, and [now] am old; yet have I not seen the righteous forsaken, nor his seed begging bread." Psalm 37:25. I am very much a product of my parents prayers. While I could have a CDL I traveled by truck. Today I travel that I might attempt to reflect the Love of our Creator to the poor and outcast of society.
